EMILY MOMENT

Emily Moment is an American actress and musician born in Marblehead, Massachusetts.

Performing from a very young age, Emily spent several years cutting her chops with ‘The Rebel Shakespeare Company’, where she developed a love of classical theatre. She pursued her professional theatrical training at Wagner College in New York and The British American Drama Academy’s summer intensive at Oxford University before going on to perform in countless New York stage productions such as ‘Walking Down Broadway’ (The Mint Theatre, dir Stephen Williford) and ‘Boy’s Life’ (The Abingdon Theatre, dir. Fritz Brekeller).

Emily has also worked in film and television in the US with a feature in the Elvis Costello music video ’45’ (dir. Jessie Dylan), resulting in her feature on the cover of Costello’s 2002 album ‘Cruel Smile’. She is currently a member of the folk-rock band, ‘Mahoney & The Moment’ who have been featured on BBC 6 Music, Balcony TV,  and recently released their 3rd album, ‘Confession Note’.
